Welcome to my new blog, my name is Richard Donald, and I am a high school senior at City-As School in New York City. As a social media intern at the newly founded website, HireFinders.com at HCR Group, there are multiple things that I have learned and plenty experiences which I have gained. HireFinders.com is a recent job seeking website that brings recruiters and jobseekers together, making it simpler for employers to find qualified employees to fill in their open positions. Since this is a newly founded website, the current objective of the owners at this point, is to promote and popularize the site. this is being done so through virtual marketing, specifically through SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SMO (Social Media Optimization). What SEO entails is creating links on blogs, blog comments etc. to improve the possibilty of being clicked on and redirected to HireFinders. The greater the amount of links you have corresponds to the chance of someone clicking on your site and increasing traffic. SMO is somewhat similar; however it instead utilizes social networking websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin. these sites are great apparatuses to popularize HireFinders due to the vast amount of traffic to them, and the ability to create groups and fan pages. by creating HireFinders groups, it is possible to have people learn about the site and see if it is usefull to them, and if so, they are only one click away from visiting a potential number one job board.
